scholarships that bridge the opportunity gap
Support scholarships
MDW Fund provides business programs that help scholarship recipients build more scalable and profitable businesses. The programs include curriculum, coaching and mentors. All donations are tax-deductible via our 501(c)(3), and you can follow our grads’ successes via social media and MDW Fund newsletters. Join us in closing the wealth gap, one business at a time.
Mission
At the Million Dollar Women Fund, we assist underrepresented female founders to scale their businesses by providing access to business coaching, alternative capital, and mentorship. Together, we aim to bridge the gap, fostering a more inclusive and equitable entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The Bridge the Gap Campaign is seeking to raise $100,000 to provide TWICE AS MANY scholarships in 2025. Please join us with a gift of any amount using the DONATE NOW button at the top of this page. Thank you!

The Gap:
Women of color entrepreneurs make an average of $47k in annual revenues (Caucasian women make $100-$140k) and fewer than 1% reach $1 million in annual revenue.
Founders from underrepresented communities — including women of color, veterans, and women with disabilities — are starting businesses at record rates, yet face steep challenges in accessing capital and support. The average annual revenue for women of color entrepreneurs is just $47K, compared to $100–$140K for their white counterparts. Fewer than 1% break the $1M mark.
The Million Dollar Women Fund is helping underrepresented founders scale up through access to training, mentorship, networks, and capital — and we’re building a more inclusive economy while we do it. Since 2017, we’ve supported over 180 founders through scholarships, provided in partnership with trusted community organizations.
You can help us reach even more — with a gift of $25, $50, $100, $250 or any amount that’s meaningful to you. Every donation makes a real impact and is tax-deductible.
